Post LFH with building a computer
i am looking for input on building a gaming machine, that is also used for school/photoshop/and some minor video editing. im looking in the 400-600 price range

so far i came up with this

Sorry to say pre built computers have become a ton cheaper lately I used to be hardcore build your own but this past gaming rig I got prebuilt and after looking at prices per piece it came out like 100 dollars more that includes shipping just a thought! Dont take it as its the best thing just another idea

Building them is fun though, I've built 2, had a blast doing it. The best part was that they ran.

Buy the right OEM hardware and it will run great. I bought an Optiplex 755 2 years ago and it still runs great to this day. All I had to do was to buy a new video card once the one that came with the machine no longer suited my needs. I'm a power user and I won't be replacing this machine for years to come...
